I watched the first episode out of curiosity but thought it was a bit childish for me.

Series 2 features an adaptation of an SJA script called "The Thirteenth Floor."

Indeed. It's currently scheduled (as far as Wikipedia goes) to be the first story of Series 2, but that could all change.

I did watch some of it... definitly not the best of RTD's work. Seems more like SJA for kids (5-8 ) Also the leader of the necros (blatent Doctor Who referance to the planet necros *Revelation of the daleks*)reminds me of classic who so much with all the puppet work.

Watched one episode and wasnt really impressed. Then again, i only watch DW, star trek, and other sci fi things, so kids sci fi doesnt really get me going.

I liked it. I hope there is another series!

There is another series, ILAIKI - it's due to start filming soon, airing in Autumn.

The second series finished filming a little while ago now! So excited!

Ooh, yay! I'm looking forward to the next series (that is, if the Nekross are not back ). Hopefully Jackson comes back after the hint at the end of the episode he appeared in, and it would be great to see more monsters spread across the series, instead of just one opposing threat ruling the whole series.

And by the looks of it, the girl he is in love with (name slips my mind) and one of the other school boys get bigger roles this series. Maybe they find out to?!

Oh, that'll be great. I really liked the girl, so I suppose they'll make her position in the group a bit like Maria/Rani in SJA.
