Steampunk RPG

London is at war with itself. If you can call it London anymore. Fire runs everything now, and the smoke in the air means the sun never comes out. There are two sides: Scavengers and Engineers. Scavengers believe they can get technology working again one day. Engineers want to keep life as it is. Which side are you on?

Other: Eriks right hand man. Obsessed with war.


Now we can start.

Erik paced around his office. There were several old maps of London pinned to the mouldy walls, and on his desk was a dirty Risk board for him to check the locations of his regiments around the world. There was no heating, but Damien was tending to a small fireplace in the center of the far wall.
"Damien," Erik sighed.
"Yes, sir?" Damien mumbled.
"Doesn't a leader deserve better than this?" He spread his arms wide. The only sound in the room was water dripping from the moist ceiling.
"Well, sir-" He didn't say anything more.

It was a quiet day at the hidden Scavenger base. Lawrance was sat down drinking a scalding hot cup of coffee before going out on a mission to destroy the enemy base. He made the decision of using his jet vehicle, The Knightwing. As soon as he began to climb into the cockpit, Patrick drove in on his motorcycle.
"Tracked it down?" Asked Lawrance.
"More or less" Replied Patrick, taking off his red motorcycle helmet.
"You really shouldn't put that helmet on during fights, you know. The Engineers could easily pull that flipping thing off!" Snapped Lawrance.
"My helmet, my flaming choice!" Replied Patrick.
"Right, I'm off." Said Lawrance.
"Draken! Get the Red Gear up! I need some equipment!" Shouted Patrick. So Draken pressed a button and up came the wall with the equipment. Patrick grabbed his gear and drove out of the base.
"I hope he doesn't come back with a flipping broken leg." Sighed Draken.

(We need more Engineers and a leader for the Scavengers)

Name: Thomas Arthur Smith
Age: 31
Side: Engineers
Appearance: Tall and tanned, dark blue hair (I read Manga comics), dark blue jeans, purple shirt, green t-shirt, black converse, leather messenger bag, square glasses, skinny, looks about 25 instead of 31.
Ranking in the army on your side: Scientist (not needed much, as he wants to keep life as it is)
Weapon: Bow and arrow, arrows and bow shoved in a separate sports bag
Other: Very confident and sarcastic, yet respecting and respectful. Can defend himself and does get over-protective sometimes.

Name: Montague
Age:19
Side:scavengers
Appearence:Tall, dark brown hair thats stuck up at the front, has deep cyan eyes, Wears a leather trench coat with a grey waistcoat underneath.
Ranking in the army on your side: repair's, brains & leader (you asked for one XD)
Weapon:forehead and sometimes an invention of his that shoots sharp rocks using steam power, its called the rock-etear
Other:Has a pair of goggles to protect his eyes from debries, jokes alot about the most inapropriate things (I.E if a building falls down and mocks it) then says sorry imediatly after, willing to sacrafice his life. Has a steam powerd poket watch.

"You called, sir?" Thomas walked into the Leader's room with a confident voice.

SK and Beep, you both posted twice in a row within 24 hours, I refer you to rule 1, and advise you to edit them together before a mod sees

It makes me look good as a candidate

"Yes i did" replied Montague looking a bit worried. "Sir, why do you look worried"asked Thomas "...theres no more coffee"said Montague in a monotone voice "Sir if you goin-" "i was joking. I called you here to inform you that ive got a old tank working again." Montague said triumphantly,
"with steam power no less?"questioned Thomas "GOT IT IN ONE!"Montague replied with a cheesy grin on his face. Montague reached into his poket and got his poket watch out, This was no ordinary poket watch, it has dates and smaller clock hands that told the time from the EST time zone. Other:Love intrest with Montague (Montague is in love with her aswell just thought of it now), Witty, charming, cute, sarcastic, funny

Montague sat infront of the moniter wondering if he should call jena..
The screen flashed on by itself...there was jena brused and cut with blood dripping down her face. "WHAT THE HELL HAPPEND" Roared Motague in a worried voice "The engineers found us, there attacking. SEND HELP!"she screamed. "Im coming my love" replied Monatgue as he ran off looking for Lawrence and his jet. He found Draken "wheres Lawrence" he questioned "He set off to attack the enemy base" he replied confused "Do you have a communicator working yet???" Monatgue asked and rapidly started look "Um yea, over there" said Draken a bit stunned at thier leaders confidence whittle away into a mad man running around. Montague sent a call to Lawrence... after a while Lawrence answerd
"Sir?"
"Quickly get back here, pick me up & head for the US scavenger base"
"Why si-"
"thier under attack. Quickly now"... Montague put down the device and sighed

Erik smiled. Each country had its respected leaders, but he was the son of the mind behind the Engineers, and if he wanted an attack launched on the US Scavengers, he would damn well get one. He took a sip of champagne. His office was shabby, but champagne was at no shortage.

Thomas knocked on the door.
"Come in."
Thomas walked into the room, looking at Erik.
"What is it?" Erik asked the scientist.
"Apparently, Montague has got one of his tanks working again." Thomas was still looking straight into Erik.
"How do you know?"
"Why, I went undercover, sir!" Thomas seemed more confident and triumphant at that word. (Continue)

"You went...undercover?" Erik smiled.
"Y-yes, sir."
Erik laughed. "Brilliant job! Now...how's the project coming along?"
"I'll show you if you like. It's not quite ready for launch yet, and still needs a bit of-"
"I'll be the judge of when it's ready to launch," Erik growled. "Go get Damien, and we'll be on our way."

Thomas rushed down the corridor, smiling to himself. He opened a room and Damien was filling out forms.
"Come with me! The boss wants to see my project!" He walked out of the room, and Damien followed. (Continue)
