Is that meant to be the Let's Kill Hitler look? That's terrible.

My favourite as you can tell from my avatar is the Revenge Cyberman. I'm not too overjoyed with the action figures, Ace looks like a lesbian with piles for instance. The monster ones are great though!

I hate the 3.75" figures tbh , the detail on them is awful. Still awaiting a despatch email for my Impossible Set from Forbidden Planet International Sad

I wish they'd either originally made DW figures in this scale in '05 (meaning they would probably be at Star Wars quality now and in a sensible scale) or just continued to make them in 5 inch. The 5 and 6 inch scales are so popular now due to Marvel, DC and yes, Doctor Who (they can all be displayed around each other with few problems). They're a great size for kids too. Star Wars scale makes sense as so many figures are made in the scale, but changing over after so many years making them in only one size is silly. I never collected the new series stuff much anyway, but I would like to know for certain if we're going to get a 5 inch Capaldi (in proper costume).

To Be Honest, I kind of wish Diamond Select had taken the Doctor Who Licence. They work in all scales from 3.75, at the way to 7. Their Star Trek figures were great, and we would of seen a few ships as well. Such a shame

Apparently the Star Trek figures sold badly and they therefore didn't make figures for the new film. If they had made them though, I don't think we'd have got the same range as Co gave us. Classic figures would have been at a minimum or not even there. We probably wouldn't have got as many one off characters or someone like Churchill.

It was actually Playmates who made the figures for the 2009 Star Trek film, Diamond Select do the original TV serials. The difference in quality between the two is pretty big, with Diamond Select being far superior and more collector-friendly.

I don't mind 3.75" figures at all personally, but only when they're done properly. Unfortunately, CO's 3.75" figures have been pretty meh and the only one I now own is the Dalek figure. However, after seeing pictures of the recent 10th Doctor figure I might pick one up, and I might get the 12th Doctor, too. They seem to be getting better. The only figures in the line I really can't stand are the 11th Doctor and Clara. If they produce a better 11th Doctor I'll pick that up, too.

Yes. I know the ones you mean. I've seen a few of them (not really into Star Trek). They're good figures, but CO's 5 inch range can appeal both to kids and collectors. It's a happy balance. Collector centered companies often seem to make expensive figures that are not as sturdy.

Looking back, the Star Trek figures were very well priced. Both Playmates and Diamond Select could do a better job then CO. When asked if they would take the license, they said they dont know yet, but a nice mix would of been made

I think a mix would have been nice. If we'd have had 6 inch and 3.75 inch figures alongside each other, we wouldn't be in this position. I think they'd have made more money too. Collectors of one scale would collect one and collectors of the other, the other. Kids would pick the ones they could get hold of and you have a lot of collectors out there who collect 3.75 inch figures (mainly for SW) and 6 inch (mainly superheroes).

Got my 'Impossible Set' on Tuesday! Clara is great, one of CO's best likenesses to an actor/actress IMO, and the Doctor is surprisingly more pleasing than I anticipated him to be! Very Happy Here's my full review if anyone's interested:

I really want that Clara figure. If we never get a Capaldi 5 inch, I can make a custom using the head from the Time of the Doctor set and make animations. From what I've heard from people who have her, she looks a lot better in person than in the promotional photos.

Got the 12th Doctor yesterday! Love him! Great figure! Didn't think too much of him from pics but he looks much better in hand and certainly miles ahead from the 'regenerated' figure. The rest of the stock at the two shops I saw him in also had great paint apps and no flaws from what I saw. CO are definitely getting better at their 3.75" figures, I hope the progress continues. More importantly I hope we get this head sculpt in 5"!

Also picked up a TARDIS whilst I was at it and love it! I don't know what it is about it but it just looks like the perfect TARDIS shape to me. Not too fat, not too small, it looks just right. Bounce

He's definitely better than the other Capaldi sculpt, by miles in fact!

And he's definitely better than this guy, too... Razz

Thanks Stark!

Yeah, I'm not happy about the 'Time of the Doctor' set being put back yet again, especially when America and Australia are already getting this figure now. I'm thinking of buying from overseas so I don't have to wait.

The only reason I'm happy that it's been delayed is because I have more time to save up due to money being tight at the moment
