Injuries, anyone?

Tell us about the injuries you've had in the past!
On Tuesday, I bent my ring finger back in basketball by standing underneath the net to catch the rebound, and by the time it was 9.30, I was at A&E because my finger had swelled really badly! But now that I'm in a sling, I HOPE I'll be able to play basketball again soon!

When i was reallllly young, i cracked my skull. Might explain the insanity, but thats really all ive had.

The only one I can really think on is when I was 6 at my special needs school I lost my Barbie glasses and the teacher didn't consider I couldn't see anything without them so she thought to have a little gossip with one of the other teachers. So I was trying to get back in the building without hurting myself and next minute 3 Year 11's came up to me and try to batter me. I got 2 of them but the third one who was like really tall pulled at my collar and pushed my onto the pavement and kicked me in the stomach for no reason! Had a massive cut on my head and the head teacher was like "Come on Kim, let's forget this happened" and the kid slagged me off so I lost my temper at her. Luckily as far as I know that school is not up and running anymore, well, I hope!

I broke my arm falling down the stairs when I was 6.
I had multiple injuries when I did Ballet such as pulled muscles etc. but nothing major.
I've also landed on my coxics 2 imes and been unable to move for several days because of so.

When I was young I fell and hit my head on a table and one of my teeth went through my lip. Nice.

I don't remember it, so it's fine I have a scar on my lip somewhere, it's near enough invisible though.

When I was in year 4, the day before a residential, I was running around the garden and then tripped, landing face first. The next day, I had a massive cut on my forehead. Nice, eh? :laugh:

About 2-3 years ago when I was in Year 7 I went swimming with my mates and as I'm not a fantastic swimmer I thought to try and do a Tom Daley off the edge. Next minute I'm the water with 8 broken teeth and a couple of massive bruises on my knees and face. All of my mates thought I was dead! Until I got up and said "Why the hell was I just under water?!". That day when it happened, it got worse. But it doesn't involve an injury the other one but let's just say me and my mates had a right go at the swimming place and the teachers thinking it was ok.

I remember when we were in our old house, I was at the front door (which was at the top of a massive stairway leading to the downstairs entry gate to the house), and I went head first tumbling down all of the stairs, and had a massive blister on my head for weeks after that.

My worst was trapping my finger in a sliding door about 6 years ago, the fingernail went blue and fell off after a few weeks.

Fractured leg when I was playing football because my brother (Who is 8 years older than me!) jumped on my leg when I was 5

Fell out of a tree and got a scar on the left side of my chest

Cutting a brach off of a tree with a saw, the saw jumped off and stabbed myself in the hand. Gained scar number 2 (Trees just don't like me )

I also have a mark on my forehead which I have had for as long as I can remember and I have no idea how I got it... spooky

When I was about 8 or 9 me and my family were returning from holiday and I was moaning I needed the toilet. So my Dad stopped off near this pub on the M6 and he didn't know I was grabbing my coat, next minute my hand is stuck inside the car door. I nearly killed my Dad because of that(by that I mean scream in his face and cry like hell). Luckily my Mum got my hand out just in time. If she didn't then I don't think I'd have a hand. But I wasn't writing with my left hand probably for a month or 2 that's for sure

I also remember one time I was at my childminders and got a large cuboid shaped toy stuck around my neck and my childminder was there for hours trying to get it off.

I remember once in primary I scraped all the skin off the front of the lower part of my leg.

I have got 2 scars on my forehead- one dead center in the middle from when my brothe pushed me into a cupboard and one on my eyebrow from when a champagne bottle went flying, and I just happened to be an obstruction to its path.

I remember when i got a trapped nerve in my neck!
