It is a great custom but not as simple as you might think... I have made this one too and the neck joint is not even close. It was a real bear to try to preserve the head articulation. I had to do major work on mine to get it to work.

No, it really was simple. I just boiled and pop'd the head off DT and had a spare matt smith head boiling in another cup so it just slipped into the neck ring, mine has good head articulation, cant go 360 but I don't think davids could
