Deep Space Nine (at least until the JJ Abarams Movies) is the series that is furtherest from Gene Rodenbury original vision of the show. Deep Space Nince got away from the idea the humanity evolved beyond the need for money and many of the vices that humanity has today. It is great Sci-Fi in its own right but it is to me the odd one out in the Trek Universe
