Here's a picture of the 12th Doctor I did using my drawing tablet and GIMP ( A program like photoshop). Hope you guys like it , not my best work in my opinion. 

Very cool. You use it as your YouTube avatar, don't you? Is it freehand or was is 'traced' on Gimp?

Very good. I personally love this style. I love the, sort of, one colour for a whole area thing. I've done similar things in the past. It works great for avatars, banners and posters. I love its simplicity and boldness. Ever tried doing it with stencils and acrylic?

What happened to his face? Is that meant to be Slenderman wearing The Doctor's outfit?

It's just a minimalist drawing, a bit like a silhouette, but with a tiny amount of detail.

I was just wondering what happened to his face.... If it was a silhouette shouldn't we just see the outline?

It's the basic shapes, I suppose, that Capaldi's Doctor has. Block colour and the outlines of clothes etc to make the Doctor just recognisable, but still simply done. If it was just a silhouette, then it wouldn't be as clear. We don't need Capaldi's face to tell that it is the 12th Doctor. It's quite a common art form used in various forms of graphic design.

Exactly. For example, the soup that's in the letter 'U' in the NerdSoup logo is just block colour rather than an accurately defined image of a bowl of soup:

The image looks odd in a post on a forum thread because it is not presented in the intended form. Go to TIL's YouTube channel. He uses the image a lot there. It's really effective.

I look forward to it. Any chance of seeing some monsters in this style? Daleks would probably look quite cool with their simple lines and recognisable circles and rectangles etc.

Yeah Ill make sure I do the Daleks
