Would you ask to buy this magazine every Season for £5? Please Tell me if I should make this!

Probably Ebay But Remember this isn't Official but most likely will be happening!

Androzani84, this is a verbal warning. I am not being disrespectful and as DalekSupreme08 pointed out, i was making a fair and just point. You have been rude before in the past but i have merely dismissed it. Now i do believe that this warning is fair. If you continue you act in this way, further action will be taken.

It was just an idea Campion, I might not even do it. I may just work on other things, I was just seeing what you thought of the idea!

A magazine is a good idea, but I don't think many people woud enjoy paying 5 quid per mag Also as camp says, there could be an issue with Copyright, considering you'd be making money from it. Releasing it for free would be fine though, and a great idea!

Yeah I can't do that for free I somehow need money for something... I KNOW NOW! I HAVE AN IDEA!

It's not a bad idea... to create a mag for the forum. I suppose the more members we have the less it will cost per issue.

Ebay is not a good way to go though... they charge fees... like 10% of your sales... and depending on how you acount is set up there is a listing fee too...

If we don't have fees to contend with what do you think our per issue cost will be?

£3 at the most, I may supply a free gift

Why couldn't you just make it and upload it as a PDF file, so everyone can view it?

Now, I don't want to seem up-tight about this, but NerdSoup is effectively the property of myself and Scary, and by selling a magazine and making a profit off of the back of our intellectual property, you are breaching our copyright too. That goes without saying all of the copyrights Camp mentioned.

Now, personally, I wouldn't mind you making a bit of cash, provided you donated a portion of it back to the forum so we could use it to make improvements (ie benefiting the community rather than our own personal gain); however, I think you'd get yourself into trouble eventually if you started to sell them with copyright pictures (ie ANYTHING Doctor Who) or content, and it would all trace back here. I don't particularly want to cause any trouble with copyright people, because it will just end up making a massive mess.
I'd therefore strongly advise you to make this a non-profit exercise and just upload it online here. If I'm honest, this really isn't the safest and easiest way to make quick cash. Sorry.
You're at liberty to make your own magazine and sell it to the members here, but I'd feel very uncomfortable if you were putting potentially illegal material up for sale with NerdSoup's name on it.
Again, I'm sorry for seeming so up-tight about this, but I'm just not contempt with the idea of this forum being put at risk.

I know I think I got to caught up in the idea and was being as greedy as possible But yes I will just upload it on here!
